Praying Friends!!! Remember Sweet Lucy who we have been praying would get well enough to receive a liver transplant? It's happening in the morning!!! đ⤠Please PLEASE pray over the entire effort!
I just got this message from my friend who knows the family:
Kevin! I have some really good, and simultaneously really sad news. From Megan:
"A liver has been matched! She will have her transplant surgery tomorrow morning about 6am. (Mountain Time) Her team is going to get the donor liver. They expect to start that surgery about 11pm and be done about 1am. They donât know much about the donor (and wonât) but Itâs a 4 hour flight and itâs from a child.
Please please pray for Lucy and for the donorâs family!''
It's not known whether the donor child was in a fatal crash or disease or what the circumstances are. It sounds so tragic but at the same time amazing that something life-giving can come from death. đ
Please join with me praying that the transplant will be a success and that Lucy will grow to adulthood, fall in love with a man who is God's choosing and preparation. That they will have many children and grow old together with their children who all Know and Love the Lord.
