Please PLEASE Pray for my VERY dear and precious friend and hero Phil Lahay. He was hit by a bicycler in front of Southwest women's clinic (Late term abortion Mill) in Albuquerque Wednesday morning. He has a fractured pelvis, several other broken bones and a concussion. Is 84 years old and has been a sidewalk counselor for over 40 years. I'm sure he has people come to him and say "Thanks for saving my grandma from having her abortion or I wouldn't be here today!" 😊 💓
Phil ran a rescue mission in Birmingham and marched with Martin Luther King in the civil Rights movement! Please watch this video that we shot of him talking about Down syndrome. I think Phil's thoughts about them are inspired. That they are "God's spies planted behind the enemy Lines of prejudice..."
The morning I spent with Phil on his scaffolding he erects to sidewalk counsel (In Planned Parenthood's "Back" Alley) in ABQ he would strike up a conversation with about four out of five people walking into Planned Parenthood. The love and gentleness in Phil's voice just has an effect on people! Perhaps the many hours he spends in prayer daily. I love if I call him and he's not home. Then I get to listen to his outgoing message on his phone. "Jesus is risen! He is TRULY RISEN!" There is something in Phil's gentle voice that dispels any doubt! 💓 💓 💓
Phil Lahay is walking Love! 💓 I would LOVE to be Phil walking through the Gates of heaven and seeing children lined up as far as the eye can see to give PapaPhil the BIGEST TIGHTEST BESTEST Bear Hug EVER and say "Thank you for pleading for my life that day PapaPhil!" 😊💓
Please watch our video of Phil. I instructed the film crew to make sure and interview him while they were in Albuquerque while doing our Down syndrome project. A baby was saved because of this interview. Handel and Luke got to the Pregnancy Center long before it opened where they were going to meet Phil and a girl was trying to get in for an ultrasound. They called Phil and he came right down and let her in and called the tech to come to do the ultrasound and she chose life. They were so amazed at Phil! The way he was running around and offering the girl money etc. We took the baby save as God's stamp of approval on our film project and Papa Phil. 😊💓
